This living room (or, more properly, drawing room) is the focus of this house and probably its most visible room. In a bygone era the room would have been the place all would withdraw to after dinner for dancing, gaming, and even more revelry. Today we don't have those rooms in most homes. That was the design challenge - to incorporate this room into a functional, fashionable, more modern space. Every inch had to be covered, painted, loved and adorned. The shared vision of Mastercraft Interiors and Carleton Varney evolved from the gracious Greenbrier Hotel of West Virginia. Carleton Varney is known for color - big, bold, saturated color - and color is the story here! I marveled at the applications by renowned wall artist Ferko Lakatos.
